Hey guys,
Waiting on Wednesday is a weekly event that is hosted by Jill from Breaking the Spine and and spotlights upcoming releases that we’re eagerly anticipating.
My WoW for this week is Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard:
Summary:
Mare Barrow's world is divided by blood—those with common, Red blood serve the Silver- blooded elite, who are gifted with superhuman abilities. Mare is a Red, scraping by as a thief in a poor, rural village, until a twist of fate throws her in front of the Silver court. Before the king, princes, and all the nobles, she discovers she has an ability of her own.
To cover up this impossibility, the king forces her to play the role of a lost Silver princess and betroths her to one of his own sons. As Mare is drawn further into the Silver world, she risks everything and uses her new position to help the Scarlet Guard—a growing Red rebellion—even as her heart tugs her in an impossible direction. One wrong move can lead to her death, but in the dangerous game she plays, the only certainty is betrayal. [Publisher]
It sounds amazing, doesn't it? Every blogger I know, who has already read it, loves it, so this book just has to be phenomenal! And the cover is also pretty amazing. The crone with the blood - really unique! By the way, it will be published on February 12th 2015 by Harper Teen.
Do you want to read this book, too? Have you already pre-ordered it or are you still waiting to do it - like me?
Ooo! I'm actually reading this one right now! I'm about halfway through, and really liking it so far. I hope you enjoy this book when you read it!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year :)
Check out my WoW post!
Really! Oh, I'm a bit jealous right now, but I'm really happy you like it :)
DeleteThank you! I wish you also a happy new year!
I already preordered it and I hope it will be as good as it sounds! I have the feeling 2015 has more exciting releases than 2014.
ReplyDeleteI definitely should pre-order it, too!
DeleteYou, too? It's the same here. It seems like 2015 will be a great year depending on upcoming releases!
